Bull Terrier
Breed Profile
The origin of the Bull Terrier can be traced to the mid-19th century. In the early 1800’s it was popular to cross Bulldogs with terriers, and by 1830 fighting between bulls and Bulldogs was a popular ‘sport’. Later the Bulldog with the Old English Terrier was crossed, mixed with some Spanish Pointer to increase its size, which gave life to the Bull Terrier breed. They were used as fighting dogs, ratters, and as sheep herders.
Temperament
They’re brave, and resolute. They’re affectionate, loving, and are eager to please their owner. The Bull Terrier is muscular, symmetrical and active, with a keen, determined and intelligent expression, feisty but yet amenable to discipline.

It is important to bear in mind that detection can easily be missed, especially in a young puppy. Many Bull Terriers are prone to developing skin allergies.
